twisted chocolate, almond buns

I love all kind of buns. They're so easy to do and you can fill them with all kind of different goods like apples, cinnamon and CHOCOLATE.
This is my basic bun recipe. You can of course also fill them with something else :-)
I wrote the measurements this time in gram. I got asked so often about the swedish dl measurement, that I thought it IS so much easier like this.




dough
  • 500 gr spelt flour
  • 50 gr coconut sugar
  • 70 gr vegan margarine
  •  3/4 cube of yeast
  • 250 ml oat milk
Melt the margarine and let it cool down a bit. Mix it with the flour and the sugar. Dissolve the yeast in the oat milk and add it to the rest. Mix it and knead it to a easy formable and not too sticky dough. Let it rest for two hours at a warm place.
Split the dough in five even parts. Roll the first dough part out. It should be ca. 3-5mm thick.


 
 chocolate cream
  • 5 tbsp vegan margarine ( melted)
  • 4 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 3 tbsp cacao
Mix the ingredients in a potand heat it up. Stir it until it is a cream.

Then spread the chocolate mixture on it the first rolled out dough layer. Add some blended almonds on it like in the picture. Continue like this until the last layer, then cut it in ca. 2 cm wide stripes.
 
 Twist them and roll them to buns.


Place them on a baking sheet and coat them with a bit of oat milk.
Give them for 15 min on 200 °C in the oven.
Sprinkle some melted chocolate over them and enjoy!
